Board toleration

Thickness:	-1mm / +1mm
Width:	-1mm / +1mm
Lenght:	-2mm / +0mm

Healthy timber, consisting no blue-stains, parasite damage, decay or mot.  Subcortical allowed up to ½ of the board’s width, but no more that 5-7 percent of an overall volume. The boards are cleaned from sawdust and bark and has precise geometric cutting. 

 

II sort

Board toleration 

 

Board’s width is consistent throughout the entire length. The other side of the board consists of a base no smaller than 15 mm in width.

Blue-stains and some parasite damage is allowed, as well as minor dry decay and mot. Subcortical allowed up to 9/10 of the board’s width.

The boards are cleaned from sawdust and bark and has precise geometric cutting. 

 

III sort

Board toleration 

Thickness:   -5mm / +1mm

Width:         -10mm / +1mm

Length:        -2mm / +0mm

Board’s width is very nearly consistent throughout the entire length; bark is allowed. The other side of the board may be fully with bark.

Blue-stains and some parasite damage is allowed, as well as dry decay and mot. The bark is not cleaned and allowed up to an entire width of the board.

The boards are of a precise length.
