Privacy policy

1. Who processes your data

2. What data we process, why and on what basis

• Enquiry form. Name, e-mail address, phone number (optional) and the text of your message. We use it to answer your enquiry and prepare an offer. Basis: steps at your request before a contract and our legitimate interest in communicating with customers (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). The message is sent to UAB “Volimeda” mailboxes; the website does not keep it in its database.
• E-mails and calls. When you write or call us, we process what you provide (contact details, content of your enquiry) for the same purpose and on the same basis.
• Job applications. If you send a CV or other data about work, we use it only for the selection (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and keep it only while the selection runs, unless you agree that it may stay longer.
• Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4). We measure which pages are visited, for how long, from which approximate area and on which device. We do this only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Without consent Google Analytics is not loaded.
• Google map. On the Contacts page the map is shown only with your consent or after you click “Show map”. Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
• Server logs. The hosting provider technically records the IP address, time and page requested so that the website runs securely and errors can be found (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Providing data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Cookies

Without your consent the website sets no cookies. Your choice (accept or decline) is stored in your browser’s local storage for 12 months, so you are not asked every time.

If you accept, these cookies are set:

• _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): tell visitors and sessions apart, valid for up to 2 years.
• Google map cookies: set by Google under its own policy.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page, or by clearing the site data in your browser.

4. Who receives the data

• The website and e-mail hosting provider UAB “Interneto vizija”, J. Kubiliaus g. 6, Vilnius, Lithuania.
• Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), if you consent to Google Analytics or the Google map. Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s EU-US Data Privacy Framework decision or standard contractual clauses.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries and correspondence: while the matter is being handled and for no more than 3 years after the last contact, unless a contract is concluded or the law requires longer storage.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.
• The cookie choice in your browser: 12 months.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
